Come join the Ballard chapter of Silent Book Club for their monthly night out! We are excited to be one of the featured locations and can’t think of a better setting to read in then our cozy Ballard tasting room. Join us every third Thursday from 7 PM to 9 PM to enjoy a special time to read alone or with new friends!

How does it work?
No tickets required! It’s a combination of happy hour meet-up, a book club, and readers reunion. Our flow is:

• 7-7:30: Chat and Get Cozy (Feel free to come even earlier to enjoy more wine and conversation!)

• 7:30 - 8:30: Read Together

• 8:30 - 9: Chat books, exchange recommendations, and say “see you next time.” We’ll take a photo of all of your reading options for the Silent Book Club Instagram!

What should you bring?
Bring whatever YOU want to read. Novel, non-fiction, a newspaper - anything!

Is it quiet?
We try to keep a quiet atmosphere but there is still background music and at times other customers talking. If some noise makes reading more difficult, we’d suggest bringing lighter reading like a magazine.

Can I come alone?
We sit communally so whether you come alone or come with friends, you’ll be sitting with other readers! If you’re feeling nervous to come solo, just know there will be lots of other readers just like you. It's a great way to make connections!
